luxury bed and breakfast in the cotswolds

The House

Rectory Farm is a large, Cotswold stone country/farmhouse dating from 270 years ago and offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation.  All the rooms are large and traditionally furnished in keeping with a Country Cotswold House of this period. Bed and Breakfast guests have use of the main Drawing and Dining Rooms which open off a flagstoned Hall that runs through the core of the House.

The large Drawing Room with deep, comfy sofas, a grand piano and tables piled high with books and magazines is the perfect place for relaxing in and taking tea in front of the log fire, after a day spent exploring the surrounding Cotswold villages and countryside.

The Dining Room, with its sumptuous, swagged, gold damask curtains framing the view out over the garden and onto the rolling Cotswold farmland, features beautiful, dark oak furniture including a solid 15ft oak table where breakfast is served.

Breakfast is sourced with as many local products as possible; the local butcher supplies the bacon and sausages provided by his own Gloucester Old Spot pigs (an old Cotswold variety of pig). Elizabeth makes her own marmalade and the honey is produced by Cotswold Bees, who keep hives of bees here at Rectory Farm.
