luxury bed and breakfast in the cotswolds

Activities

Walking

There is an extensive network of footpaths throughout the Cotswolds and the estate has the long distance D’arcy Dalton way footpath running through it.  For shorter walks a 3 mile ramble will take you to the Rollright Stones, a set of ancient Megaliths built between 4,000 and 1,500 years BC, some 800 feet above sea level on the Cotswolds and producing stunning views for many miles over unspoilt countryside.

Golf Course

There are some challenging golf courses in the ares:

Fly fishing

Fly Fishing for Rainbow and Brown Trout is available on our own two spring fed Lakes, just a short walk from the House.  Complimentary fishing, tackle hire and tuition is available and excellent dry fly-fishing is to be had from late April until October.

Guests are welcome to stroll down and try to outwit an unsuspecting trout on the evening rise; for details please visit Salford Trout Lakes.
